At the Restoration & Design Studio, we expertly repair and restore antiques and fine metal art. Our capabilities include the fabrication of most objects in silver, silver plate, pewter, bronze, brass, copper, gold, nickel, chrome, white metal, wrought iron, ivory, porcelain/ceramics, and wood (sorry no furniture).

Since 1987, Restoration & Design Studio has been serving its clients (Individuals, galleries and decorators) in the New York City, New Jersey and surrounding areas. Mr. Karner (owner) learned his trade in his native Czechoslovakia and then from his father who was jewelry designer and manufacturer. Mr. Karner was reviewed in many leading papers and magazines. In January of 2014 Restoration & Design Studio closed their doors in Manhattan and soon after reopened their studio in central New Jersey.
